general information

November-April is considered the drier, cooler season with optimal whale sightings from mid-January to mid-March. Rainy, or “hurricane season” is from July-October and temperatures are overall much hotter during those months.

getting here

Studio Ensueño is located in Pescadero, just south of Todos Santos. Renting a car is a must and we HIGHLY recommend renting an SUV as many roads are unpaved and can be rough. Make sure you get insurance!

what to pack

While during the day it can be sunny and hot, it can cool off at night and we always pack layers as the temperatures can shift. There are some great hikes nearby so pack your sneakers if that’s your thing and also don’t forget your bathing suit as the pool and beach are calling. We have some towels that you can use at the pool and also bring to the beach!

arrival instructions

You will need to have cash for the toll road. It’s best to get pesos from the ATM’s at the airport. Tolls from the airport to Casa Hygge will be 114 pesos.

Google Maps will bring you to the wrong side of the property with no access if you directly type in “Casa Hygge.” Below is a downloadable pdf of more accurate directions.

DO + SEE

HIKING
Punta Lobos
Sugar Port Trailhead: Offers stunning views along the coast. Google “Mirador Punta Lobos” for a peek of the views!

There are several routes along the way so just pay attention to your trails so you know your way back.

BEACHES

Playa Los Cerritos
Catch some waves at Playa Los Cerritos or learn how to surf at Mario’s Surf School.

Playa Las Palmas
Gorgeous beach with wild horses. BEWARE! The horses are NOT friendly so keep your distance. This beach can sometimes be blocked off as it’s considered a private beach but we’ve added a dropped pin in our google saves as “Playa Las Palmas” in case you get lucky and can park at the dropped pin. From here, you walk through a stunning palm oasis to get to the nearly secluded beach.

Playa San Pedrito
Stunning beach with less of a crowd and is suited for more experienced surfers.
