SUGGESTED ITINERARY
ABOUT
Our bungalow is in a community called “Casa Hygge.” It’s in an area called Pescadero which is just south of the nearby touristy town of Todos Santos. You’ll reach our bungalow before you hit the town which is about 20 min north of our place. Most restaurants take credit card, some take US dollars, but most just take Mexican Pesos. I get pesos out at the ATM at the airport. There is one bank in Todos Santos, but ATM’s are not plentiful in the area.
PACKING
It should be quite warm during the day but it’s like LB where it can be hot during the day, but chilly once the sun goes down. There is AC for the warm times and also a comforter if it’s chilly at night. Comfy hiking shoes and bathing suits of course are a must + sunscreen. The bungalow has shampoo and body wash, but bring whatever else you want as far as toiletries.
There are beach towels in the bungalow so no need to pack those!
GOOGLE MAPS
I saved all the places I suggested below on this google map for you!
ARRIVE MONDAY APRIL 14
At the airport:
Before exiting the airport, you’ll see a few ATM’s on your left side as you are exiting. I always pull Pesos out of here. You will need $120 Pesos for the toll road or US Dollars (about $6 USD) but they don’t take debit or credit card. If you pay in US Dollars, they will likely give you back change in Pesos FYI.
You’ll find your car rental company outside of the airport, you will see all the signs. They will shuttle you to the rental company.
Put “Casa Hygge” into google maps and make sure you have toll roads ON. It should look like the map screenshot.
Once on the toll road there really isn’t much opportunity to stop off until you get closer to our place so if you need a snack, either pack on the plane or get something at the airport. There are NO gas stations on the toll road so make sure on the way back you aren’t low.
Once in the area
Stop at Agricole to pick up any groceries before getting to the bungalow. Agricole is closed on Tuesdays so I’d pick up any breakfast things for tue morning. There should be 1 big 5 galloon bottle of water for you in the bungalow, but here’s a good place to grab more water if you need.
Lunch spots: (these two are also good for dinner too!)
Barracuda Cantina (Los Cerritos location) - one of my fav’s! super laid back, great tacos, fun vibe, sometimes live music, no reservations so first come first serve.
Hierbabuena - super close to the bungalow, more focused on seasonal and fresh options in a gorgeous garden setting
Dinner spots:
Jazamango - a really great meal and setting, a favorite of the area. Reservations recommended which you can do online
IL Giardino DB - Italian but is really good with nice views and cute setting.
TUESDAY APRIL 15
Morning hike: Plug in Sugar Port Trailhead into google maps (also saved on your google maps). When you arrive you’ll typically see cars parked on the side of the road and a brick abandoned building. Park where you see the other cars. (You will be right next to a Hotel Cristobal so you may see signs). It’s not a circle back hike, so I always hike to Mirador Punta Lobos and head back. There are beautiful views and some times you’ll see whales. Some photos I’ve taken from Punta Lobos…
TODOS SANTOS
After a hike you can go explore the town of Todos Santos!
I saved “Hotel California” to the google map, and i’d say park anywhere around there. You’ll see on the map, I also saved a bunch of shops and restaurants so this is the concentrated area. (it’s pretty small so easily walkable).
A few places I like to eat:
Taller 17: for breakfast bites/coffee
Jazamango: *closed on Tuesdays. This is the little sister to the larger Jazamango I mentioned for Day 1. This one is in a very cute setting where you walk through an art gallery and some shops, and it’s in a garden in the back. Casual and cute. Love their fish tacos.
Oystera: trendy oyster bar but also has a garden restaurant. Worth a walk through as it’s in an old beautiful building with shops inside as well.
DUM: Gorgeous setting in an oasis. Mediterranean, delicious, a little more pricey but a great lunch or dinner experience.
La Esquina: Slightly a little more north of downtown proper. Casual, outdoor patio setting. Sometimes there is live music here, fun vibe, busy on weekends.
1890: Had my birthday dinner here and loved it. A little more fancy, inside a boutique hotel. Stunning!
The Green Room: On the north side of Todos Santos- super popular, reservations highly recommended. Right on the beach, feet in the sand kind of dining. Casual and great setting.
Tre Galline: Italian, super cute in the middle of Todos Santos
Cien Palmas: Haven’t been here yet but have heard great things!

BEACHES
Walk to the back from the bungalow!
Playa Los Cerritos
Catch some waves at Playa Los Cerritos or learn how to surf at Mario’s Surf School.
Playa Las Palmas
Gorgeous beach with wild horses. BEWARE! The horses are NOT friendly so keep your distance. This beach can sometimes be blocked off as it’s considered a private beach but we’ve added a dropped pin in our google saves as “Playa Las Palmas” in case you get lucky and can park at the dropped pin. From here, you walk through a stunning palm oasis to get to the nearly secluded beach.
Playa San Pedrito
Stunning beach with less of a crowd and is suited for more experienced surfers.
WELLNESS
Cuatro Vientos: Yoga and a gorgeous space with community events.
Aureo: Pilates and AMAZING massages by Hesed (book ahead)
